The Office of the Registrar is responsible for providing services to students and faculty such as creating course record management, classroom assignments, final exam scheduling, publication of the Undergraduate Catalog, academic record creation and maintenance, student registration, enrollment verification, as well as processing of grades and transcripts. The iCenter supports the Office of the Registrar in a number of ways that students find useful.
Students can request free copies of their official and unofficial transcripts in two ways:
The first and easiest method is through Student Admin. Indicate on the form how many copies you would like and where you want them sent. We will process and send out the transcript typically within 24 hours of your request.
The second method is to fill out a transcript request form in person at the Registrar's Office.
Keep in mind that any holds on your account may prevent them from completing your request.
Enrollment certificates can be presented to health insurance agencies, loan companies, car dealerships, housing authorities, consumer product companies, as official evidence of enrollment at UConn. The certificate is considered a valid, certified document. These certificates can be obtained by visiting the iCenter or the Office of the Registrar. Similar to transcripts, students can also request one online through Student Admin or visit the Registrar's Office to fill out the form.
Plan of Study
1) The Plan of Study lists graduation requirements for each major and minor, and it is obtained from your academic advisor.
2) Once a senior has applied online to graduate, they must submit a Plan of Study. Staff at the iCenter will be happy to collect the Plan of Study (we'll even make a copy of it for your own records) and ensure that it is delivered promptly to our Degree Auditors for evaluation.
